Cute flower pot decoration

These days I was looking to buy an adequate decorative pot for my new plant, but without any success.
As for me winter is the season of knitting, I decided to knit a cover for the plastic flower pot, too.
But suddenly I saw my knitted hat and that is how the idea to use it (or to sacrifice it:) ) for decorating the pot appeared.
I tried it. I liked it. And I thought to share this creative idea with you.

P.S. To make this cover practical, the top of the hat should be cut. :)
